I didn't think that I had been sleeping, and as far as I know, there are guys on either side of me.

Well, there weren't guys on either side of me. Evidentally everyone had moved forward about 20 meters into a patrol base. The head count came back bad, and someone was missing.....it was my ass.

After telling SSG Johanson that I wasn't sleeping, he then asks me where all of my buddies are then.

I look around me at that time, once the flashlight got out of my eyes, and realize how fucked I am.

I then realize that there are flashlights all over the place, and they had been looking for me.

OH SHIT ......I AM SO FUCKED.
