Well I'm finally in basic. That's about it. NoahH and I are in the same platoon. So far it's really easy. A lot of people are trying to drop their Ranger contracts. Right now I'm just learning all I can and trying not to fall asleep on our boring short marches. Rock On.

Pay attention and do better than the next guy. Time will literally fly by, as long as you maintain a good attitude. Soak up the information like a sponge. You'll enjoy it.

First Sergeant Sapper,
Basic now has computer access at the PX. When I went through Basic which was about a year ago, we got to go to the PX after Red phase about every 3 weeks or so. They'd have telephones, internet access, etc.

I know, Basic now probably is a HELL of alot more convenient than it used to be. All part of the 'Army of One' I guess
