This is the painting unveiled on Nov 23,1999 in Vicenza, Italy where the 508th was stationed at the time.
Two of the paratroopers in the picture were flown over for the unveiling ceremony and then were able to spend some time in the C co area talking with us young soldiers.

It was a humbling experience for a brand new PV2 to talk with those two, and they left a hell of a big set of shoes for my comrades and I to fill.
