Ranger Class 7-16 graduation

Post by Jim »

From CSM (R) Jeff Mellinger:
Ranger School Class 7-16 graduation. Guest Speaker is Colonel Ralph Puckett, recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross from both the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Of the 457 who started on day one, 63 went straight through to graduation (that's 14%). They were joined by 92 recycles, for a total of 155 graduating today.

Drops include 98 for pushups, 4 for situps, 1 for chin ups, 6 for the 5-mile run, 5 for the CWSA, 66 for land nav, 24 for foot march, 1 admin drop, 12 med drop, and 1 LOM.

Ranger School is still the toughest course in the Army.
