SITREP-Martese

Post by KeepRunning3 »

I'm at the MEPS hotel right now, I feel ready to go. I can't wait to get through reception so I can get started with my training. My PT scores are still where they've been around and, I'm excited to hopefully meet up with some of the other mentees down the line.

I'm leaving reception tomorrow, can't wait to get to sand hill. we're walking from the 30th ag and I'm excited to actually get to training the wait had been killing me so I've been PTing with my bay mates. I'll try to have another update up soon. Thanks for helping guide us Rangers.

We have family day tomorrow so we got our phones tonite. So far IET Has been pretty easy, my run time has suffered since I got here and my 2 mile is down to 14:00 but I think that it is muscle fatigue. There's only 15 OPT40s in my company and the rest is almost completely filled with 18x because of this I think we tuck fasterthen the other company's but I still need to go ruck by my self when I get a chance because the 10 miles at the pace we do was to easy for me. Hopefully 12 miles is harder to help prepare me for RASP a little bit more.

You're ready for this, more prepared than most of the boneheads that showed up with you. Go get it, work hard and don't quit.

I dislocated my knee and rasp and was not able to recycle I’m in the 82nd now training to ranger school then back to rasp. I see it as a bump in the road towards my goal.
