Damn, Affirm, it is difficult for me to believe that just over two years ago you joined the site. You have come a long way in a short time. Remember that in the mountains, you can never have enough dry socks. I continue to expect great things of you. Never, never quit!

Take care. The only thing that's worse on your feet than the mountain phase is having to do it over. Of course taking your abused mountain feet to the swamps of Florida is just plain stupid. Take more socks.

Seal up your socks separately in sandwich plastic ziplock bags.
We used PRC-25 (was our radio) and its batteries came with a nice plastic bag which I saved and used them to individually wrap my socks & maps.

Not to jinx you, but making it past Darby ups your odds significantly.

50% seems high this early on (I think my class lost 56% overall). Granted, we didn't have the 'polar vortex' to deal with.

Shit, they may make you sew double white thread on your tab given the crazy weather the last 4 weeks.

Best of luck, don't quit, drive on.

Good luck man, getting through Darby mentally helped me. I knew I just had to get out of Ft Benning and I'd be fine...

With that said, I thought I was tired and hungry after Darby. Little did I know!

Way to push through your adversities and see it through to the end.

Besides, I'm sure you enjoyed the Pancakes.

Outstanding job and congratulations Ranger!

Having experienced the mountains a second time, myself. I'm proud of your accomplishment. And you should be equally proud! Never, never quit!
