Figure I'll post my scores, since I haven't done so in a while.

Self-Administered PT test:

Push-Ups: 72
Sit-Ups: 70
2MR: 15:15
Pull-Ups: 5

255/300

Push-ups were down 1 rep from my last record last Tuesday. Sit-ups up 1 rep, and my 2 mile down 27 seconds.

Push-ups (2:00)- 101
sit-ups (2:00)- 93
2 mile run- not timed; the track that I run on was a sheet of ice, after a mile I almost ate it twice so I slowed down and did a third mile to ensure that I had good footing and still achieved a decent workout.
pull-ups- 13

Another self-administered PT test.

Push-Ups: 105
Sit-Ups: 75
2-Mile: 14:45
Pull-Ups: 6

Been hitting the gym lately. Nothing but muscle failure workouts with weights. It has definitely improved my push-ups in a short time.

Black2594,

Please tell me what workouts you have been doing to improve your push-ups by 33 in 14 days time. That's amazing.

Roger that, Ranger MadBSTRD.

Kemba, I located a Ranger School prep workout online and took a few things and added my own. More than likely what has helped, is on bench press, I'll do three heavy sets. Then do half of my body weight 20x for three sets, then 65% of body weight for 15x three sets. I utilize normal grip on the first two sets then wide on the last. I also implemented different types of curls, skull crushers, and chainsaws to build up my arm strength, as well as flys to build the chest muscles. I take maybe 10 seconds of rest time between each set and 30-45 seconds between each exercise, the goal is to reach muscle failure quickly and work through it.

It's also helped me that we have a 1SG that loves push-ups in battle rattle. :P
