I doubt that anyone is gonna be looking inside your smelly boots......but who knows? Glad to hear that you're avoiding the whole V-Drive thing. Smart move. Jump School is really kind of a fun break from the other training, or at least I thought it was. Stay up to snuff on your PT, and stay focused. You'll be wearing some Wings pretty soon.

Good sitrep. Good to see that you're rocking right on, unlike some members here who are on a three week hold.

"watch out for that first step, it's a doozy"
If you get past the 34' tower, the rest is a breeze. On the 34' tower, keep those eyes on the horizon to defeat the fear-of-heights monster. That's the only time you might have to man up, and after you've done it once, your only fear is of the bruising on your crotch from the leg straps - so try to get every evolution right the first time! No opening shock is near as hard as the end of slack on that damn tower.

Jumping is no sweat. With 68-90 other almost-paratroopers on the plane, you won't have the guts to be the one chickenshit who unhooks and sits down.

The PJs have a saying that might inspire you during RIP: "They might kill you, but they can't eat you".
Enjoy your time as a private while this is still 'fun'. The responsibility that goes with stripes is tougher than the smokings you'll be subject to a few months from now.

So far so good. Airborne is a blast. You are actually getting paid to learn how to fall out of an airplane.

Good sitrep, you beat the hard part, that damnable tower.
Jumping will be great, just like stepping out into a great big video screen. You won't have any sensation of height until you experience ground rush and then there's nothing you can do about it anyway!
Always remember: the fall can't hurt you, it's that sudden stop at the bottom that can suck.

Keep your feet and knees together, and your chin on chest and you'll be okay. Good job so far.

Why are you on the computer? If you are not sleeping or eating, you should be doing PT to get ready for RIP. :)

Too bad you missed the 250' towers, that was the most fun in jump school, other than "perfect" jumps.
Don't drink Sunday night! Discourage the guys in your stick as well - there'll be enough airsick bags going around as it is come Monday
