There is a long tradition that TRADOC Schools do not have the most up to date equipment, It took 2-3 years after we organized the Streiker Brigades before Ft Benning had one. The issue is that TRADOC is low priority on the DAMPL.

I don't know about OSUT, but in Fort Jackson the soldiers get issued the "soldier's pack" which includes the MOLLE vest and the smaller MOLLE rucksack (patrol pack??). I figure if FT Jackson gets this, then FT Benning (OSUT) definately has it.

I just graduated 17AUG, and we were issued a MOLLE ruck and assault pack. In fact the gear was brand new when it was issue to me which surprised me.
