Introduction

Post by OP-FOR »

Glad to have found the forum and glad to begin maybe contacting past Rangers I served with. I served in C Co 3/75 from 92 to 95. I did not see any combat, I did not receive a tab. But I am glad to have served in the Ranger Battalion. I worked my way to Gunner on the Carl Gustav in Weapons Plt. I had great memories of the "A T Lounge" Serve as a Gunner on the M249G with the 8lbs stock in 3rd Plt. From I went south to Ft. Polk and worked as OP-FOR. I now am a civilian married to a cajun girl and proud how everything has come together for me and I would not change anything. I met 3 tabbed former officers today that I work with and decided enough is enough. Time for me to establish comms.

After leaving the service in '96 my Cajun Wife and I used my GI bill to start our college educations. After completing college we began our careers. I currently reside in NW Florida.

I have completed a few half marathons along the Gulf Coast. I am thinking about doing the Destin Ultra 50K (31 miles) supporting SOWF next Feb. Anyone done the Destin Ultra?
