Hello Rangers!
My name is Joakim. Currently serving in the norwegian army as a Leopard 2A4 MBT gunner, 1st armor squadron, Telemark Battalion HRF. Served my conscript year in 2010 as a .50 cal gunner in a light cavalry company. 6-months after that I made it through the cut to enlist in Telemark Battalion HRF, and soon finished with my first 3-year contract, signed for another 3 years today! No deployments other than joint exercises and sim-training. Had the privilege to fight alongside 1-4th Infantry Regiment during Combined Resolve 2013.

Your unit and countrymen certainly have a proud history that is the stuff of legend. I made mention of two in the "Badass of the week" thread; Birger Stromsheim and Max Manus.
From what I have read, even the resistance played a huge part in WW2. My favorite story being one of a certain fish cannery that had been seized and its production being used to supply the U-boats of the Kriegsmarine, so the workers managed to pack the fish in castor oil. Absolutely genius!
