Intro Chris

Post by cfreeman88m »

I have been serving in the Army for just over 6 years. I joined as an 88M, deployed to Iraq, serving as a .50 cal gunner and truck driver. Upon redeployment, I was told to reclass or get out. I opted for 46Q (PAO). Since being PAO, I have gone to Air Assault. My unit plans on sending me to ABN later this year. Once my re-up window opens, I plan on asking for Ranger School. Currently stationed at Bragg.

Thank you for the great info. Why? When I was at Bliss, my squad leader convinced me to go as his Ranger buddy. Things havent gone as planned, but I never lost that desire. Also, going through Air Assault confirmed how bad I want to go. I have tons of work to do, but when I get the chance, I will be more than ready. On a plus note, the 75th just got their first PAO ever so that means there is a chance for to one day serve there.

Did you already earn a CIB or CAB while you were deployed?
