Introduction-dan

Post by dan »

Hello fellow paratroopers;
I enlisted 1982, boot camp Ft. Jackson, jump school Ft. Benning, parachute rigger school at Ft. Lee, then to E. company 407, 82nd Airborne Division. Honorably discharged in 1985.
During the Grenada invasion I was one of a 25 man detail of riggers who were taken down to where the boys heading out for Grenada to back up the the 75th were being issued live ammo, grenades, laws, etc.. That was my job during the Grenada invasion.
Currently I'm a small farmer in SE. Iowa.
If any of you Rangers knew a Roy Hunt who was I believe in B. co. 1/75, in Grenada era he was in my older brothers grade in school and I told his sister on face book to tell Roy one of the guys in his squad during Grenada was looking for him on this site so maybe he will get word and join.
