I grew up in a small town in Nebraska. After high school I went to college for 2 years, participating in ROTC. Liking ROTC more than school, I enlisted in Sep. 1998. After RIP, I was assigned to Mortars, 1/75, in April, 1999. I served 4 years with a deployment to Afghanistan in early 2002. I got out in Dec. 2002 to return to Nebraska to go back to college. Iraq started up, and watching the news took a toll on school. I then chose to leave Ft. Livingroom and go back into the Army, this time as a 11B. I enlisted in Jan. 2004, and was assigned to 3/75 in May 2004, 1st Plt B Co. After an Afghan and Iraq deployment, I transferred to Snipers in late 2005, with another Afghan and Iraq deployment. I got out in May 2007, moving to Omaha, NE. I live with my girlfriend and our 3 dogs.
