They told you that it was so you'd feel accomplished. When you actually do accomplish something in the Pipeline, let me know

In other news, do you still have a place up here from your old Division Days? If you need somewhere to crash until you can get settled, let me know

I'm just gonna quit if it gets hard. I'll be living on post this time around, in those new APT BOQ buildings. I might need a couch to crash on until my HHG get there though. I might have to take you up on it.

Your boy is doing well. Only one retest on the hands on slingload. I told him we was being inquired about and he is racking his brain on that.

On a side note, I did watch him vomit on himself when a bunch of us went back to these CSU girls' place on Fri night. The TACP took pictures.

Torch check huh? I was in Torch school at Benning when the Twin Towers were hit, down on the airfield doing sling-load hands on. As a side note, can you call yourself a Pathfinder if you were in a Pathfinder company but no Torch? (Kinda like the whole Tabless Regiment guys that go elsewhere)

Finished the field problem late last night. Now its just recovery on THU and graduation on FRI.

All in all it was a good school. I knew next to nothing about air assault operations before and now I feel comfortable with a working knowledge of how to plan the technical aspects of them. I would have like to see some more tactical application of the knowledge but I understand that due to the various backgrounds of the students that might not be realistic. The school did put a lot in my kit bag that I think I can incorporate into training and real world use on an ODA. It might even help during SUT and Sage, we shall see.

Now its time to pack up and PCS back to Bragg.

JLTW- Your boy made it and did real well. Send him to RS ASAP.

Congrats.

I'm still butt-hurt from that school. I scowl whenever I drive pass it. Which is every day.

I knew I was ETSing and passed my (coded) slot to soldiers in my unit. All in all, I sent 1 each E-5, 6, 7, and O-2 over my 18 months as S-3Air. I got no torch, but I got lotsa beer.
