The tape don't stick...

Post by Seabass1-4 »

Any ideas for getting 100 mph tape to stick to the side of a cold UH60?
Ideally, the solution to the problem won't leave any permanent goo on the bird.

The weather here in Germany isn't going to get any warmer until April, and I've got several more helo drops scheduled.

Last week's jump was good except the damn tape kept coming off the side and floor of the bird. I settled for piling up a bunch of the tape in the corner as the floor joins the door, and calling it good. It worked, but I don't like doing business like that.

Any ideas?

You using the issue tape or the Brigade Quartermaster tape? The issue tape is absolutely worthless. Use the BQ tape. I've made canteens out of the stuff just to see if they work. It does.
