Welcome. Plenty of information in the Rasp and Army Physical Fitness forums here for you to read. Running is key, running like deer is what you'll need. There is no Airborne shuffle, no 8 or 9 min miles. You will be run into the ground, most times at sub 6 min miles.

Learn to puke, breathe and shit while still running, they don't play 'wait up', they play 'catch up or leave'.

RASP in Oct

Post by Steadfast »

harrypro

Your new name is: RASP in Oct
Plus your old password
If you want a new name read my PM and PM me back from the name (shown above) in your 1st acct.

Making a new acct. now gives you two names & failure to follow instruction. I will not approve your new name post.

Is there any reccommended reading materials or any educational videos that may help me better prepare. My APFT averages between 285-295, my only concern is running since the Army (at least at my post) has abandoned running due to the new cross-fit craze.

In our own About Army Physical Training forum are many examples provided by Rangers.
