27D with OPT 40

Post by BlkHawk56 »

Hello my name is Far (name deleted by Admin) and I enlisted on the 12th. I got the job I wanted 27D (Paralegal Specialist) as well as the option 40. I do not ship until July 16th so I am wondering what kind of pt to do to help me prepare for the OPT 40.

Welcome Far, If you truly want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. We take considerable pride in the fine young men who pass through armyranger.com on their life journey. Read all the FAQs, as well as select stickies and threads. There is a section on physical fitness that should prove helpful. In the meantime, please tell us more about yourself; where did yu grow up and go to school. Why do yuo want to be a Ranger. Within the next 72 hours, I want you to self -conduct a PT test and post your results on this thread. Never, never quit!

I grew up in the mountains of NC and am currently a high school senior at West Wilkes. I play football as well as golf for my school and lettered in varsity golf my freshman year and varsity football my sophomore year. On my football team I started as tackle (soph. and junior year) and guard my senior year. Now with that being said I am only 5'6 and 145lbs. I have a very strong will and determination and will not give up no matter how hard something might be. I am striving to become a ranger because I feel it will push me as well as help me become a better leader. "Sua Sponte" practically describes me and my lifestyle. I take charge without having to be asked and people look to me when they need a leader. I am also a self motivator and I motivate and push people that are around me to their limits. I will self conduct a PT test in the morning.

Excellent PT baseline. You should have no problem building your scores.

My advice is to go read the site rules and regulations before posting again.
