Try this. Please self-administer a PT test and post the results on this thread.

push-ups- 63
sit-up- 55
2-mile run- 13:34
OK, so much for your PT baseline. You need work. For your initial task. Time is short. Begin to memorize the Ranger Creed. Commit it to memory, and practice saying it out loud. Never, never quit!

teemoor wrote:Also I have two questions, for the self-administered PT test, was I supposed to time how many I can do in 2 minutes, or how many I can do in one shot?
And the reason I signed for 74D option 40 was because I am interested in the chemical training, as well as being part of an elite group, specifically the Army Rangers. As a 74D, will I still be partaking in all the high speed action, and hardcore lifestyle of a combat Ranger?
1) It is the number completed in two minutes.
2) As a 74D in one of the Ranger Battalions, you will be expected to be the expert in your MOS, but you will also get a variety of high-speed training. Never, never quit!

Very good. Earn your place in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Let us know your progress on the letters from school thread and never, never quit!
