Beer BBQ Ribs

Post by mortar_guy78 »

You will need:

2 Slabs of Pork Ribs
A large supply of your choice of beer
1 Large Bottle of BBQ Sauce
Creole/Cajun Seasoning
1/2 Clove of Garlic minced
1 or 2 Peppers (Habanero, Jalapeno, whatever your taste) chopped
Hot Sauce (I like Franks)
Honey

Cut the ribs so that they will fit into a couple of Gallon Ziplocs. For marinade, combine beer (you won't need all of it, but who wants to do this without drinking some), minced garlic, chopped pepper and Creole Seasoning. Make enough to cover the ribs. Marinate in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

Drink beer.

Sauce-
You can use any brand of bbq sauce for this. Dump the bottle into a bowl. Add honey, Creole Seasoning and hot sauce to taste. (I never measure stuff so...) When you taste it, the sauce should be sweet with a hot kick.

Drink more beer.

Grill the ribs while drinking beer. Brush sauce on for the last 2-4 minutes of grill time.

Eat the ribs. Drink more beer. Enjoy life.
