It just doesn't look right to me! If you are looking for a very concealable pistol, look at the XDS. I got one and love it! I was concealing a full size 1911 so I guess anything would have made that look light. I got the .45 recoil is minimal and it's a straight shooter!

I still "conceal" my 1911. I get a lot of funny looks and compliments from LEO's in my area.

I'd say you are on the right track. Get some range time before buying. Run it until it is filthy. If it feels right, go for it.

One thing, I have seen a LOT of these purpose built sub-compacts that had "break in" periods as well as very specific ammo requirements. To me, that's bullshit. If it doesn't run the ammo I put in it from the first magazine, I would stay away....

I do not own one yet, but having fired one I can agree that the .45 ACP recoil is very manageable with the XDS.
