George J. Rakauskas (Steadfast)
RIP Ranger
George J. Rakauskas, 67 of Staten Island, New York died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at a VA Hospital in New York City.
Born Friday, December 10, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of George Rakauskas and Virginia Pfeifer Rakauskas.
He was a Veteran of Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

Steadfast - is also known for his many volunteer hours as a Ranger Administrator for ArmyRanger.com. Uncle Stead as many called him, was a quiet professional who provided many young men assistance and support as they explored and learned about the Ranger community.
Jake provided mentorship to new members and to Rangers in need of his words of wisdom. Jake will be missed but never forgotten. RLTW
