Re: Introduction: Gavin
Gavin, great SITREP save for your 5 mile time. I suggest you look into doing 60-120 interval sprints to help out with your cardio, and don't be afraid to go full afterburner on your runs when you are preparing. Ensure that you are stretching though because running at this level is tough on your join...

Re: Introduction: Gavin
Gavin,
Good SITREP. Enjoy your Christmas and also keep in mind that you have plenty of time before you ship out! Don't try to cram all of your preparation into two months because you'll burn yourself out or increase risk of injury when training.

I see that you have already secured an Option 40 contract with 11x-ray. Your fitness scores are not passing right now, however you took a diagnostic...

Re: Intro - Ary
Ary, The most interesting part of Regiment in my opinion, is how it is mainly comprised of young Rangers who got there straight from OSUT or AIT which has been the standard for decades now. Regiment is designed like this for a reason, and you'll hopefully figure out that reason if you get here. The ...

Re: Intro - Ary
Ary, One of the biggest advantages you have on this website is that you have time, and you have time to do research on your goals. Hundreds of people just like you have come and gone from here, some with their scroll and some without. Hopefully when you read the Letters From School Thread you'll see...

Re: Intro - Ary
Ary, welcome to the site. Tell us more about yourself, why do you want to be a Ranger? Did you play team sports growing up? Your PT scores are pretty low, however you gotta start from somewhere. Take the time in your preparation to improve your scores, and post here in 2 weeks an updated RFT to incl...

LiveOak, welcome to the site. I don't know how far back you've been lurking here, but I'm sure you've seen that there are not alot of us poking around here anymore. However, there are still some of us here. To answer your questions, Regiment will be a culture shock to you to some degree, which is co...

Re: Introduction- Eli
First off, I want you to read the FAQ at the top of the Future Soldiers forum, find the deficiency in your post and fix it from now on. (You owe the site 25 pushups and one for the Airborne Ranger In The Sky) Second, your first task is to start learning the Ranger Creed verbatim, and apply it to you...
