Re: Intro

Just found this site and it looks to be an amazing resource. I commissioned out of the University of Louisville about a year ago, completed IOBC, Airborne, and, just recently, Ranger school. On my way to my first duty assignment, 508th PIR, and couldn't be more excited. Going to Vichenza? When I ...

Anyhow, we say "my soldier." At least I do. I love being an NCO and so my soldiers are like my "kids" or whatever. I care about their well ...

Oops forgot one last unanswered question:

Sorry for some of the confusion, let me answer some questions both from my avatar (which I changed, since I see that it caused some uprising) and from PMs, etc.

Although, first allow me to say thanks for the warm welcome. Haha.

Anyhow,

1) I am not a SSG(P)...the PF is part of the language code. I ...

Feelings about people with the tab and no time in Rgr Bat

Just curious how you guys in general feel about people who get the tab and never serve a day with an actual Ranger unit.

I served with a unit which for the moment will remain unnamed, and a BN Commander, who shall also remain unnamed...and he only cares about you if you have a tab.

Funny thing is ...

Hello from Afghanistan (non-Ranger introduction)

Someone pointed me in the direction of this site because they didn't believe that I was in the military (some people just drive me nuts) and wanted you to "vet" me  .

Anyhow, I was poking around the site and decided to register for my own interests of BSing with other Army guys regardless of ...
