Re: Air Force TACP switch to Army RANGER?

Dude - I'm a former TACP, Ranger Qual'd and did my time in the Regiment. My advice to you would be to attend the next STS selection. They've dramatically increased the numbers for TACP bubbas to support the 75th and the SFGs. TACPs are now assigned to each STS and fall under AFSOC. You won't be cont...

Re: The Office

"THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!"/quote] For the 16 months I was at 5th RTB, I am certain that every single day Duke used that line. I incorporate it into my daily conversations. Drives my people crazy. It's awesome. My buddy loaned me all the back seasons and the wife and I watched them prior to t...

Someone from the Obama campaign called our house a few days ago. The lady on the phone said, "We just wanted to confirm that you will be voting for Barack Obama for president on election day." My wife laughed and said, "Are you serious?" She thought someone was trying to play a p...

Llyod Irvin's House Broken Into - And he was home!

What kind of a dumb ass tries to rob the house of a verified bad ass, while his buddy (also a verified bad ass) is hanging out? Wow, I love this part... "Irvin, an expert in Sambo defensive gun and knife techniques, was able to get ahold of the gun in the attacker's hands, first separating the ...

There is nothing light about Kimbo, he had to drop 25 lbs just to meet the 240 lb limit that Shamrock insisted upon.

I just finished "Jawbreaker"

Written by the OGA guy that was running shit at the beginning of OEF. Good book, read it in about 2 days - which is really rare for me.

I love it that Kimbo got beat. Wish it would have been Shamrock that did it, but Seth will work too.

Got My Rating Today

I was medically separated two years ago due to avascular necrosis (broken bone died due to lack of blood flow). I somehow managed to crack a small bone in my foot and didn't know it. After 4 years of self-medicating it with Motrin I had an MRI done. They wanted to replace the bone with a cadaver bon...

I wish that would have worked in Florida. Right before I moved from Hurlburt Field to Las Vegas, I was driving home with the wife and kids from Pensacola. A cop has a car pulled over WAY off the side of the road (both cars were 10m off the road). So I cruise on by not thinking too much about it. 15 ...

Thanks to all for the welcome. Cams, that was a good one. Actually in my 10 years in the AF, I spent only about 2 on an AF base. The first time in the AF "Dining Facility" (they evidently don't like it when you call it the chow hall), anyway, the first time I ate in the chow hall at Hurlbu...

I was an Air Force JTAC (formerly called ETAC) with 2/75 from 2000-2003. Graduated Ranger Class 2-00 (started 10-99). Did a couple of OEF trips with 2/75, then went to Hurlburt Field, FL to be an instructor at our basic JTAC course. I was medically separated in 2005, turned out my foot was broken ba...
