Re: 2015 Ranger Hall Of Fame Inductees
my point is that the vast majority of rangers are enlisted. the vast majority of the heavy lifting ie fighting and training is done by enlisted and yet the hof iductees are almost 2 to 1 officers points to a political process instead of a merit process. I am pretty sure active rangers would all have...

Re: Sua Sponte

All of those things which I learned in Batt and have helped me lead a successful civilian life. When I was in Batt the motto was...

Sua Sponte
I was thinking...always dangerous. We were told Sua Sponte meant ' of their own accord' it seems to me, "of their own initiative' is clearer. Sponte being the root of spontaneous, spontaneity etc. The accord thing just doesn't make sense to me.

Re: NSA bulk data collection un-constitutional

Re: US Embassy Closings
Let's think about this: they know we have access to all their calls and emails, so all they do is set up a conference call make a couple of vague threats and they shut down the US State dept overseas. That is terrorism, creating change through fear. The reaction over Benghazi has made the gov't even...
