Love your E-tool.

Just on the knife thing - I was/am a knife nut. I took Gerber Bowie knives to the field, Randal Model 2's and every other damn thing. After a few longer visits to the field (like Desert Storm with a Gerber Bowie) I paired it down to a leatherman with a broken blade (my blade broke) and a buck knife ...

I used to love the idea of hopping out of Shithook or Craphawk with Apache gunship support instead of being scattered all over the place after a jump (especially after an AF Reservist mistook the river for the road and scattered us 10 miles short or long). Finding out just how easy those helicopters...

Thank you all. If you were closer, and I wasn't at work, I would pour some Jim or Jack - and I pour heavy. I have a couple questions: 1: How do I get "Newt" out from under my name? 2: What does "DEP" stand for exactly? My best guess is 'wannabe ranger thinking of maybe doing some...

Getting away with Ankle and Knee supports in Ranger School

I tore up one ankle pretty bad right off the bat in Ranger School, so I know how this one works. You can use 100 mile an hour tape on ankles and knees. I had an SF medic on my team who did the job. It worked VERY well - one of the small ankle bones was broken and duck tape jobs got me through to gra...
