Re: Need a random deployed Rangers contact info

That did occur to me after I made the post. I found a site that will send a package to a random soldier. I suppose I can use them and make a request that, if possible, the package go to a Ranger.

Need a random deployed Rangers contact info

Hi all,

I want to send a deployed Ranger a care package for Christmas in memory of my grandfather who was a Merrill's Marauder. It has to go to a Ranger because my grandfather would have insisted on that. I would appreciate the name and APO address of a deployed Ranger, as well as a list of a few ...

"The Gracie bros spent two weeks at 2nd Batt. training a bunch of NCOs who then returned to their platoons to spread the knowledge."

Which two Gracies are you referring two? I've heard that Renzo went down a couple of times with Royler, but I think they are cousins. A soldier named Romolo ...

Ranger Unknown,

I'd say a lot more than half. In fact, i doubt half are aold enough to even serve. There are very few servicemen on that site, and only two Rangers that I know of. Thats why I figured some of you might be interested in educating them since i'm not a Ranger. Although i'm a vet, and ...

"Was your grandfather a Paratrooper as well?"

My grandfather is an Airborne Ranger. He wears an Airborne tab above his Ranger tab, and told me that he dropped into the jungle. In fact, he told me that was one of the scariest parts, b/c he said the Japanese were firing at the men as they were ...

Ranger Matador275 wrote::::REPAIRED BY THE QRT::: After reading two pages of this bullshit I felt like smashing my powerbook."
I hope not because of something I did. I was only bringing it to your attention because I thought you might like to respond to some on the anti-Ranger BS that was being posted!

Hold on now guys, did you read the entire thread or just the first page? I posted it because a few pages into the thread some members begin to tear down Ranger training and there are only a few Rangers on that site who were defending the Regiment. In fact, our site was mentioned as a no BS place for ...

Interesting Ranger-related post on another website.

There is an entire thread of discussion on a website related to mixed-martial-arts (aka no holds barred, cagefighting, UFC) that I thought might be of interest to our Rangers. The website is www.mma.tv and the thread was started in a section of the page that deals with discussion unrelated to ...

I appreciate your advice Ranger Crazy Mick. I'll make sure I follow your advice when the time comes. Thank God, at this point he's pretty stable and still coherent enough to play cards and read the paper. But i'm realistic, and when the time comes I intend to make sure he's honored in whatever way ...

Thank you to all the Rangers and Ranger family members for your well wishes. My grandfather will be very happy to learn about this site and hopefully to be able to visit it if I can arrange for internet access in his room.

For those interested his email address is burmaranger@aol.com. I usually ...

Ranger Earthpig,

I will certainly pass your thanks on. It will mean a lot to him and I appreciate it. I'm trying to find a way to get him online with a laptop at the hospital. He's not able to get out of bed but he can type ...
