Re: Introduction-Green
1. There’s a post at the top of this sub forum with directions on how to write an introduction. Go through the site and read all the stickies 2. We’re here to help but we’re not your friend. I know you’re only 17 but have some professionalism. If you’re 6ft 145lb, I would definitely try to pack on s...

Re: Introduction - Stephen
Definitely wait for what you want. They said they didn’t have any option 40 contracts to me nearly 4 years ago and probably to some kid 4 years before I enlisted. I’m not a recruiter but I’m pretty sure they haven’t got rid of the 11X option 40 contract.

Re: Option 40 13F...is this the way for me?
Welcome to the site. Being an FO in Ranger Regiment in my opinion would be pretty cool. They regularly go TDY(travel) to places across the country to practice dropping bombs from aircraft, calling in artillery, etc. They’re also usually the first ones to arrive when there is a casualty so they can s...

Re: Preparation for RASP
Welcome to the site. Like Ranger IntelToad said the 18X program has a high washout rate. The college degree will help you get selected but whether or not you get selected is a lot less straightforward than RASP. In RASP if you can pass the PT test, 12 mile and land nav(and obviously not quit) you’ll...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
SITREP: I graduated SOCM this past Tuesday and I'll be heading to 2/75 as soon as I can out-process Fort Bragg.

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
SITREP: I'm almost done with SOCM(finally). I'm on block leave right now and I go to Tampa for my hospital rotation the day we get back. I had to recycle Trauma 2 which set me back 8 weeks so now I'll graduate February 11th. Everything on Ranger Bloody Limey's sitrep is still accurate. The only diff...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Roger Ranger Disinfertention, during my down time I would read various medical books but as you say I don't do as much as I should. SITREP: I got up to Fort Bragg a week and a half ago and have been mainly in processing since then. We started our first day of EMT Friday taking a math test and knocki...

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Roger Ranger Disinfertention and IntelToad. I'm in pre-SOCM right now working at the Regimental Aid Station and am projected to go to SOCM at the end of the February. Pre-socm can be boring at times but we're getting a lot of good clinical experience.

Re: SITREP-David(atl456)
Thanks everyone, it's a privilege to be a part of this organization and brotherhood. Roger Ranger Disinfertention, I definitely have my work cut out for me. For anyone looking to go to RASP this site is a goldmine of information and make sure to join the mentorship program. Tips I have are 1. Hit yo...
