Look up Ranger Todd Currie (1-75old scroll) on facebook that's the good life. A Ranger success. When I met him in 1977, I was a E5 from 82d. Batt was deployed, he didn't treat me as a slug but as a ranger and got me through a rough transition. A real leader in the highest of Batt standards.

Once you get to bat you will find out what are the best boots to wear when deployed, for now suck it up and drive on with what you got, your young and you will heal.

You have to be hard and build your legs and feet to with stand the punishment of harsh conditions, no boots made can do that, they can add to a more comfort level once in shape, but your feet and legs will give out unless their in shape.
