Re: Sitrep- Ange

Ange, good SITREP! The ACFT is one of those tests that mainly focuses on endurance, something that will carry you a LONG way in RASP. Keep in mind what you're training for though, if you have freetime I suggest giving yourself or having your buddies grade you on a mock RFT. Hang around those dudes w...

Re: Introduction: Garrett

Garrett, those PT scores are solid. Do everything you can to not only maintain them during BCT, but improve them once you are at AIT. Also, knowing everything about your Airborne Ranger in the Sky is a huge deal. Know their story, where they came from, what they did, the unit they came from, etc. In...

Re: Introduction: Garrett

Garrett, welcome to the forum. This website is a literal library of past experiences of people going through RASP, volunteering for it, etc. You'll find people's experiences in the Letters From School Thread, I HIGHLY suggest you read the thread in its entirety. I know you are shipping out in 10 day...

Re: SITREP- Brayden

Kessler, good to hear from you again. Hopefully you'll get that slot for school, it's a great course and you'll learn a bunch of neat stuff. Do you guys have a Pre-Ranger program at your unit? Make sure you are as physically and mentally prepared as you can, the only thing that will limit yourself t...

Re: Sitrep- Ange

Ange, by the time you read this you’ll be finished with the BCT part of OSUT. Keep your motivation high and don’t keep your eyes off of the end goal, just one 50 meter target at a time. From this point, you’ve seen the different types of people we mentioned you’d run into. Hopefully you’re sticking ...

Re: SITREP- Brayden

Kessler, good to hear from you. As if the gods above blessed you with another chance, this is probably it. A 582 ACFT score I'm sure is pretty high among your peers at your unit, making you very competitive among other people that want to go from your unit. I'm sure your PL wouldn't recommend you if...

Re: Introduction - Angelo

Ange, wouldn't you believe it but your scores improved! Crazy how that works right? I guarantee you that when you show up to BCT you'll smoke 99% of the other dudes showing up there. Keep the motivation high and it will pay dividends. Anyways, take the time you need to heal and adjust your workouts ...
