Re: Introduction-Andrew
Roger Ranger Jim, I live in the southern part of Raleigh North Carolina. The reason i'm pursuing this route is for one I want to serve with the best, I want to work with highly motivated individuals as a team, doing a job most people don't want to do, I love my country and will defend her with my l...

Re: Intro - ncgater
Ncgater, what is going on with you? Have not seen you here lately. Not much going on Ranger Jim. I did get to spend quite a bit of time with my Ranger this past month which was real good. He is not going to be coming home for the upcoming holidays unfortunately but someone needs to mind the office....

Re: Intro - ncgater
What have you learned about deployments? Mostly that the newbies don't go unless they have prior experience Ranger Jim. My Ranger is a bit disappointed but I have been trying to explain that it is not only about him but also about the rest of the team. He does need to enhance his skills and he need...

Re: Intro - ncgater
Thanks Ranger Jim and Ranger Fuego. I have more questions now, as a parent. Eventually every Ranger in Batallion nowadays cycles through a deployment or two. Where might I go to find information on such a thing when it occurs? I have encouraged my Ranger to ask his SL and PS about a Power of Attorne...

Re: Intro - ncgater
Thanks rangerjd. I will pass it on. The new Rangers went to Batallion this past Monday. My son is assigned to Delta Company. I guess the Ranger BN marches in the St. Patrick's Day parade? It has turned into quite the event. I don't recall much ado about St. Patty's day when I was stationed at Ft. St...

Re: Army's new gender neutral rules for SF
This was repeated three times in the article:
"Female soldiers must have a negative pregnancy test within 30 days before their report date."
I'll be interested to see when the first female makes it to Ranger BN. Not looking forward to it, just interested.

Re: Intro - ncgater
Rangers, Parents and others, I apologize. I have been posting elsewhere on this site and neglecting my introduction thread. I am proud to say that my son graduated this past Friday, Class 03-16. I tried to post a video of the class reciting the Ranger Creed but I just could not get it to upload all ...

Re: SITREP - Yggr
Rangers, I failed pushups again and was dropped from the course. Thank you all for the information shared on this website. Yggr I am sorry to hear that Yggr. Man up and come to graduation if you are permitted. I would still like to meet you. There is no shame in failing, only in not trying. If you ...

Re: SITREP - Yggr
Pushups? Work them today and tomorrow but rest on Sunday. I would like to meet you at graduation next Friday. Others may disagree but a day of rest before a test always helped me. I am pulling for you, Yggr.
