Re: Introduction- Quay
I am excited to say that today I was able to sign an Option 40 contract with a nice 20k bonus. Any suggestions to start preparing myself are extremely appreciated!

Re: Introduction- Quay
Upon much thinking and research I've decided that I will be leaving college to enlist. I've already been to MEPS and scored an 88 on the ASVAB. I will go back to MEPS the first week of January and I am hoping to secure an option 40 contract.

Re: Introduction- Quay
Roger RangerJim, I've been doing a lot of research and that was one of the things I couldn't really find anywhere. From talking to my uncle I realize that enlisted aren't always "trusting" of officers in comparison to NCO's, so I'm seeking advice on things I should know that could help me ...

Re: Introduction- Quay
I'm asking how long I would be able to go out and do missions with the enlisted men. I was reading about SF and how officers have about 2 years before they move up into more of planning roles. So I wanted to know if it is the same in the Regiment

Rangers,
Could anyone help me as far as the amount of 'team time' officers get in the regiment.
