I honestly doubt you could run any distance with sub 8 minut miles. I applaud anyone who can run 5 miles under those conditions, anymore and that's olympic-worthy. You honestly doubt??? Who gives a flying rat fuck about you or your opinion? How the fuck would YOU know? Based on WHAT experience? Her...

Thanks for the words of wisdom Chiron. Your post in the picture thread is what prompted me to ask here.

I'm not very clear on what different disciplines offer, but I'm sure a little research can clear that up.

Thanks again.

Martial Arts and kids

Originally posted this in the Mojo, then realized it would be better suited here.. Thought I'd post this here and solicit some feedback from those with more Martial Arts experience than I. Keep in mind that isn't hard to accomplish, as the extent of my experience was 2 years of Tae Kwon Do as a youn...

I was in first platoon 3rd squad on march 4th, I guess you could say I have some type of "bullshit" flag to wave if I wanted to, but the accounts are very accurate.
That's about as good of an endorsement as anyone could ask for.

Thanks for the feedback Timmy.

Old 3rd Batt barracks on way street to Uchee creek and back. I don't know the distance but I believe it's over 20 miles. That being said, Jordan, this run and all the others posted pale in comparison to this one: From the woodline to the chopper!!!!!! and exist only to prepare you for it. Keep that ...

I did some more checking, and I was wrong. It wasn't Vitor Belfort I was thinking of, although he's a stud too. The guy I was thinking of was Mark Kerr. He was the baddest dude I've ever seen in the ring. Here more on him http://sfuk.tripod.com/reviews/smashing_1.html http://www.sherdog.com/fightfin...

I'm a huge Tank Abbott fan, he was great as a bar room brawler, but Vitor Belfort was/is a machine. I still get shit from my buddy about one of his fights.... this old, fat fuck with a Tab t-shirt comes into the ring to fight Belfort. The announcer's talk him up like he's the bastard child of Charli...
