Re: Clearances
Thankyou for replying carbonlife, I am aware that you don't need a clearnce just airborne, I was lucky enough to get that in my contract. I'm from Canada, I do have a bank account there and as well as trust funds, no debt. Everyone else in my family apartment from my grandparents is canadian. Once ...

Re: Clearances
You only need a Secrete clearance if you get OPT 40. You do not need a clearance if you're airborne. What country are you from? Depending on which country you're from, it may impact your ability to get a TS, but you should still be able to get a Secrete level clearance, BUT you must be a US citizen ...

Re: Updated Introduction: Navid
Ranger Lefty and Ranger Jim, Thanks for the replies. I'll be looking forward to receiving a pm regarding a mentor. As to the reason why I want to be a Ranger...: I was once a refugee of religious persecution who had fled Iran years after the Islamic Republic took over. My family and I are not Muslim...

Going to Ranger School after completing RASP?
Hello Rangers, I recently enlisted as a 94F, option 40. I have my college degree in Biology and am entering the Army as an E4 specialist. My question is, would I be sent to Ranger School faster as an entering E4 into a bat? Or does it not even matter in this case? Thank you, Navid Shipping out 20141...

Re: Introduction: Navid
I have a few questions if someone is willing to answer, I'd appreciate it. 1. Does my background prevent me from obtaining a security clearance? I have no criminal record and have good credit as well with no student loans. 2. What kind of work can I expect to have with a 35F MOS in the 75th Ranger R...
