Re: SITREP- redbear77
Rangers, I am very close to graduating AIT. I leave for Camp Bullis tommorow where we will be doing a ftx for two weeks and then I will graduate. My record PT here was a 305 which was a slight increase from my BCT's record APFT. My run is still relatively weak and I am still trying to get it down fr...

Re: SITREP- redbear77
Roger Ranger Jim. SITREP update: Rangers, I graduated BCT at Fort Benning and now I am currently home for Christmas Exodus. I am to report to AIT on January 3 and will include updates of AIT. All in all, BCT was a good experience. I feel that I adjusted well and learning the basics of BRM, urban ops...

Rangers,
I leave for MEPS tomorrow and will be shipping off to BCT the following day. Thank you to all the Rangers, former and current, that have helped in mentoring. I will post sitreps whenever I have to opportunity to do so. Good luck to all other mentees.

Re: Intro-redbear
Rangers, I know it has been a while since my last post. I don't have a good excuse for being absent so I won't try to make one up. Anyway, after working with a couple of recruiters, I finally found a good one and was able to make it up to MEPs for my physical. I just swore in on friday and got my sh...

Rangers, my current APFT PU:68 Situps:70 2-mile:15:10 Not impressive, why didn't you follow Ranger Steadfast's directive to include pull-ups? No excuse Ranger Jim. Did not pay attention to detail and overlooked that part of Ranger Steadfast's post. It was a carless oversight and I will make sure to...

Re: Intro-redbear
Rangers, I completed my ASVAB recently and now in the process of picking my MOS with my recruiter. I have looked more into 68W and realize that is the job I want to do. However, my recruiter is telling me option 40's are not being offered with 68W anymore due to the lengthy AIT and attrition rates. ...
