Sitrep- Eric
Hey Everyone, I haven't done any sitters during my duration at Fort Benning and 2nd Battalion so here is all of them in one. Basic training was it anything special, really all it is, in terms of preparing for RASP, is a chance for you to begin improving your pt score. You should be scoring a 280 or ...

Re: Introduction- Eric
I apologize to everyone, I'm not very good with online forums. I graduated RASP Class 02-15. I have been assigned to 2nd Batt A Co. We are currently in MLAT week so I apologize for a quick post. All in all, RASP was easy compared to the daily life of Regiment. I'll be sure to put a more in depth post.

Re: Introduction- Eric
Rangers, I apologize that it has been some time since I last gave an update, all my time as been consumed with work and family issues. I was given two options for my contract; either 68W with no options or 11X with opt 40. I took the 11X opt 40 and I leave for BCT on 20140819. I have a pt test for D...

Re: Preferred age group
Thank you Rangers for your posts,
It's a little reassuring that the average age in the Battalion has been going increasing. I am still set on being a physically ready along with mentally and achieving my goals.
Thank you again

Re: Preferred age group
Thank you all for the responses. Ranger Jim, it was supposed to be coming apologize for that. Ranger cams, Age won't be an issue with me. The fact of the matter is that they have more experience than me and have earned the right to order me around. I understand that opt. 40 are highly sought and wil...

Re: Preferred age group
Thank you Ranger cams and Ranger Silverback, I had a feeling that she didn't know. It is a fairly easy decision and remain set on getting my true goal stated on my contract. I did find it funny when she asked another recruiter, who was infantry, to back her on me getting sent after basic. He didn't ...

I went to the Worcester recruiting officer yesterday just to fill some paperwork for MEPS. I expressed my interest for opt. 40 again and it seemed to me that they thought I meant ranger school only. They began telling me they usually give those to people coming right out of high school and that I wo...
