Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Sorry it's been a while since my last post Rangers but I'd like to give you all an update on my progress. I spent 3 weeks at World-Wide (Transition Platoon) which at no surprise was filled with highly unmotivated soldiers who for whatever reason had decided to voluntarily withdraw from RASP. My expe...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Not so good news to report this week Rangers. I went to sick call Monday and they weren't really sure what was wrong. They said it was probably a cold and gave me mucinex and Tylenol and I went back to training. Today was my 5 mile retest for not meeting the standard last week and I had the same res...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Hello Rangers not so good news this week I'm almost positive that me being sick these past few weeks is due to a case of pneumonia. I failed to meet the standard in the 5 mile run last week by 20 seconds. I know this is unacceptable under any condition hopefully I'll be afforded a retest or they can...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
I apologize for the late updates Rangers but we just ended week 5. I've been sick all week so it wasn't the best but I just sucked it up and drove on. PT wasn't to bad this week, minus the 3 mile run to cardiac hill and the buddy carries we did, mostly because we had a 12 mile ruck Friday that I'm h...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Roger that Ranger Rangerjd. I talked to a few of the guys who told me they peered me low and they said it was more of a misunderstanding because they didn't know me well and they felt bad I had to go to the peer board. Week 4 is over and we begin week 5 and phase 2 Monday. This week was short becaus...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Another week has come and gone Rangers and I'm happy to report I'm still here and driving on even after almost being peered out. This week was mainly focused around RFR with an intro to the RPAT, Fast Roping, Ranger airborne operations, and an 8 mile road march which I finished in an 1:48:22. As for...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Cole Range is over! I'm happy to report that I passed the land nav course today. We rucked 6 miles to Cole Range Tuesday morning with 139 people, we lost approximately 10 who did not meet the 1 hour 45 minute standard on the ruck and another 20 or so at Cole Range who chose to quit or were caught on...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Sorry for the late post Rangers my phone broke on Monday and I haven't had time to leave post and get it fixed. I'm using a Ranger buddies phone until then. Week 1 of RASP is over we start week 2 Monday and go to Cole Range Tuesday which will be a fun filled couple of days. We started Monday with 16...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
Sorry for the late post Rangers again no real news. This is my final week of Pre RASP. RASP 1 officially starts Monday I've been sick all week so I had to cut my workouts short this week to make sure I'm healthy and good to go for Monday. I'll make sure to keep you updated.

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
No new news to report this week just a continuation of the monotony that is Pre RASP. Today we did go on a 3 mile ruck and ran up cardiac hill which wasn't to bad. I'm still conducting my own PT after we are released to better prepare myself. Only one more week of Pre RASP and then the real fun begi...

Re: SITREP: CHRIS
I'm getting ready to wrap up my second week here at Pre RASP and so far it hasn't been nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. We barely do PT and when we do it isn't very strenuous. Today we went on a mile and a half ruck run that was somewhat difficult mostly because it was a dead sprint for...

SITREP: CHRIS
SITREP: I graduated from Airborne school last Thursday with no problems and am currently in Pre-RASP. Our estimated start date for RASP 1 is 4 May 2015. A lot of the guys who were already here are recycles from another RASP 1 class and have given me a little insight into what I can expect at RASP 1....
