we did our last jump on friday and graduated right on fryar drop zone.

Paid the ticket by mail. Made a copy of the check and the envelope I sent it in. Bringing it to MEPS.

This is probably going to the last time that I am at Armyranger.com for a while, because I ship out tommorow.

France. When will they ever learn?

As I write this France is falling into their 9th day of rioting. Over 2000 cars burned and over
30 police officers injured and 2 police officers dead due to handgun attacks.
Who is doing this rioting? The French muslim population who feel they are "mistreated ...

I took my apft today with my recruiter who is a former ranger in 1st batt. He made sure all excercises were counted as strict as they are in RIP.

I scored 59 PU.... 38 Su.... 13 : 37 for the 2 mile run


Obviously I need to work on my situps...

Dear Rangers, Civilians, DEP's, and other vets:

I ended up taking an option 40 contract... I had read Ranger Kilted Heathen's advice in another post which stated do not take option 60.

Ranger Steadfast :

Fort Hamilton.

I ship out the same day Bobcat , also with an option 40... we will probably be at OSUT at the same time.

I just officially became a DEP. I secured an 11x option 40 contract today at the Brooklyn MEPS. I recieved a 15,000 enlistment bonus plus the Montgomery GI Bill.

I promise I will not waste the slot !

Dear Rangers, Deps, Civilians and other Vets....

I leave for MEPS in 3 hours. I am not leaving without an option 60 contract including the Gi Bill, Army College Fund, Promotional and enlistment bonuses. ( might as well take them if they are offered)

I just got off the phone with my recruiter and I scored a 125 gt...on the asvab

My recruiter is coming to my house to talk with my parents on monday. So far everything is going well. I will report back after I have signed my contract. (option 40)
