Re: Wing Tsung (Chun)

Today, both son and daughter have earned their Level 1 Technician. I’m not sure, but I think they are the only teenagers here in San Antonio who are, and my daughter, she’s the only female.

Re: Wing Tsun (Chun)

My daughter just earned her title as a “Sije”. She is the first Sije at the Wing Tsun Academy. She is now teaching Wing Chun. My son earned his title too. He is now a Sihing. He is teaching too. Sifu is now looking at her training other females and younger students. This dad is so proud of them, but...

Re: Wing Tsung (Chun)

All of us are currently practicing. The kids like it. At first, my son was a little not wanting to do it, but now he can't wait to go to the Academy.

Re: Look at Teaching

I know I brought this up about teaching. There are not many teachers who have combat training. In my school alone, there’s two. There are Vets, but they were trained in other MOSs. There’s a lot of talk since the shooting there in Fl. Some school districts are allowing teachers to carry and others a...

Re: Wing Tsung (Chun)

Well, my daughter is older, but unfortunately she is a bit too young for Wing Chun. I looked into a Wing Chun Academy here in San Antonio. The Sifu there do not train kids, at least not 11 year olds. I wanted my son, who is now 14 years old, to train, but he’s doing football, and he’s doing good. We...

Re: Intro naweir

Roger Ranger Jim Ranger ManchuV 6' 3" 217lbs. Was weighed/measured at the doctor yesterday so that should be correct. Your height and weight is good. Before you can apply for Ranger and/or Special Forces, you first must meet US Army Standards. You must improve on PT. Right now, from your last ...

Re: Intro naweir

Nick, I've read your post of what you want to do in the Army, and how you are doing when it comes to PT.

What is your current Height and Weight?

The PT test will not be administered that way.

In the Army, we train the way we will fight.
