Re: Communication during RASP
In my class you were allowed to keep your cell phone from the beginning. May be one of those policies that change from class to class. Not allowed to use it or carry it during the duty day. After you've been released for the day you can use your phone or walk over to the Sayers Library and use their...

Today was one of the proudest days of my life, graduated with class 008-13 and got my scroll.

Re: Sitrep- Lennie Small
Just an update, finished Cole Range Wednesday. Started with 155 in Pre RASP, down to 136 in RASP and after Cole Range we were left with 74 men. Land nav was a killer, it is a critical event now. 13 guys that would have otherwise finished Cole Range were shuffled on a bus straight to Worldwide becaus...

Sitrep- Lennie Small now w/ graduation update
Well, today was graduation. I'm proud to now call myself an Infantryman. Like Milton said, "Long is the way, and hard, that out of Hell leads up to Light", don't know if I'd call OSUT Hell (well, maybe the first week and a half in 30th AG counts as mental hell) but it certainly had its unp...

SITREP- Lennie Small
Graduated with my Bachelors a month or so ago, saw the recruiter and told him that I was ready and that I'd take an 11x or an 11x Opt 40 if he could find one. Lo and behold last week he calls me up and says that not only did an 11x pop up, but an Opt 40 with it! He reserved it for me and I filled ou...

Re: Option 40
My recruiter called me a week ago and reserved an 11xOpt40 that popped up. I finished MEPS and swore in about 5 hours ago.
11XOpt40's do exist still but they are rare.

Re: Introduction- Wes
Ranger Steadfast, I will thoroughly read the Recruiter's Q & A Forums. Thank you for addressing my problem, I am not using AOL, but I have found I do not get the PM if I let the system automatically bring me to the forum index instead of clicking the link which bypasses the redirect. Clearing ou...

Introduction- Wes
Hello Rangers and others, My name is Wes, I'm currently a college student and close to finishing my bachelor's degree in criminology. Would at some point down the road like to double major in ME Studies. Originally gravitated towards NSW as I have a few friends and acquaintances that were part of th...
