SOPC is a whole nother animal these days. Starting now its going to be a 0% attrition course where the events are completely optional and wont include much in the way of land nav from what I understand. Its a shame... The main advantages we had as a group in the Q course were fitness, lan nav skill...

Finished SOPC, was supposed to start selection on Monday, but I broke my foot, so I gotta wait until March 20th now. SOPC wasn't nearly as bad as I thought, and only had like maybe 40 guys quit. Not too bad. Now Im gonna get healthy, then go get selected.

Airborne SITREP

Hey guys, I posted 3 weeks ago about the completion of OSUT, and today I graduated Airborne school class 08-06. We had to knock out all 5 jumps in two days 'cause of weather and only got one combat equipment jump in but it was fun.

Figured I'd post a sitrep for you guys. Graduated from B Co. 2/58 today (4th plt.), didn't have any problems other than getting sicker than all hell during FTX, threw up all over the place and had the shits for a couple days. We kicked ass as platoon in PT, average score was a 254. Home until Sunday...

So I decided to join the Army

Well, I graduated highschool in 2004, went to a year of college at Appalachian State University and sometime in the middle of all that stuff I opened up a business. Realizing I wanted something different I gave the Army a look. Growing up in a military family Ive always wanted to join, and today I f...
