SITREP

Simultaneously other companies ate ice cream sandwiches and kept their cellphones on Sundays, while we got...

Re: Shin Splints?

Rangers & Black2594,

I too have pain like this in my shins a good deal while I am running and afterwards. Is this something where we should just tough it out and push through the pain? Or, is there something different we should be doing? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Jharrelson. Ranger cdwdirect made a post that describes some of his experiences at RIP, which I think might interest you. Please see the link below:

Rev83, It sounds like you have pursued a selfless and honorable track. I am sorry to hear that you ran into an obstacle with your enlistment, but I will suggest that it is just that; an obstacle to be overcome. You have a clear and admirable plan, and as a fellow aspiring soldier, I encourage you to...

Cdoc93, Don't get discouraged even if you aren't where you want to be yet. Keep working at it diligently, and you will definitely see improvement. Also, remember that even if you are not 100% prior to shipping, you will have more time to improve throughout OSUT and BAT. If you dedicate yourself to t...

Introduction: Matt

Hello all, I am 24 from Boston, MA, about to finish a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice this August. I have sworn in with an 11x Option 40 contract, and I ship to Ft Benning on January 3rd, 2012 as an E-4. I realize that serving as an Army Ranger with the 75th requires soldiers to go above and be...
