MEPS for RENO

Hello Rangers, I apologize for being out of touch for the past few weeks. My family is currently relocating so my availability, and access to internet has been very limited. After speaking with my recruiter, he is going to call MEPS/the ROC later this week to find out how many opt. 4/40s are in the ...

Ideal Time to RENO Contract

Rangers, I do apologize for posting another topic on this again, but I posted a question on this thread here, http://armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=59422" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but it was rather hidden from the world, and not responded to. So I am posti...

Re: SITREP Jake

Rangers, I do apologize for posting outside my own topic, but I figured that slitherboy would like to see this as well. I am aware that I have to go back to MEPS in the Autumn, but when exactly would be the ideal time to go? I know that the Military Fiscal Year starts on October 1st and ends on Sept...

Re: SITREP: GilBot

Thank you for the upgrade, Ranger Steadfast. And Ranger Buzz, as far as PT goes, I haven't been able to give myself a practice-APFT in a little over a month now as I have been very busy with various work meetings and such, but I will do so at the next available instance, and when it goes to selectin...

Re: Fiscal Year Airborne Availability

Thank you very much, Ranger goon175. You answered exactly what I wanted. I just wanted to be sure the counselor wasn't playing me for the youth I am.

Re: SITREP: GilBot

Rangers, I apologize for not making my SITREP deadline. I was unable to access a Personal Computer yesterday, and all I had was my smartphone which was not allowing me to post at certain times. Knocking 25 out for failure to obey. I finished up my processing at MEPS, and when talking with the counse...

Fiscal Year Airborne Availability

Rangers, I recently went to MEPS to get all my processing done and when I got to speak with the counselor on adding in things like Airborne and RASP, he said that since my ship date is so far out, 20120703, the slots aren't even available for reservation, he mentioned something about the new fiscal ...

Re: SITREP: GilBot

Rangers, Another quick update, I'm currently at the Hotel for MEPS. I originally went to MEPS earlier this morning, but my recruiter misdated a section of PC form, so it wasn't valid. So I went home and the First Sergeant was nice enough to let me restart processing again tomorrow, instead of next w...

Re: Recruitment Process thus far.

Rangers, I have fantastic news. My Ear tube has already fallen out. My doctor simply looked into my ear and told me that it was just sitting in my ear canal. Everything has healed up perfectly, even to the point of me not noticing it was gone. What this means is that I am going tomorrow to talk abou...

Re: Recruitment Process thus far.

Thank you, Ranger goon175, for taking time out of your schedule to provide as much information as you could. Rangers, as a quick sitrep, I have an appointment with my ENT this upcoming Thursday, and I will provide more in-depth information following the appointment.

Re: DEP'ing Into the Army

Thank you, Ranger cdwdirect for posting such an informative thread to help us get what we want. My only question is that since this was posted 6 years ago, how much of this still applies? I read in another thread that they are tightening the belt on the Opt. 40 and a Ranger recommended to a DEP that...
