Re: SITREP - Mata Leao
Rangers, It's been quite some time since I've been on the boards of had anything worthy of note to say but here I am, back again. The last few years seem to be a blur from the time I started using this forum through Basic, RASP, Battalion life and up till now, but I can honestly say they have been t...

Re: SITREP - Mata Leao
Rangers! I take great pride in being able to finally tell you all that I have graduated with class 01-12! I received my scroll and donned my beret for the first time on Friday. It has been a long journey, but I can count these last eight months as some of the best of my life. I saw how close the Ran...

Re: SITREP - Mata Leao
Rangers, I am proud to say I earned my wings last Friday. I had the opportunity to jump first from a C-17 on one of my jumps, it was by far one of the highlights of my life thus far. It was a perfect jump, even down to the landing! I wasn't a fan of the Airborne skits ::slap:: "behold the 34ft ...

Re: SITREP - Mata Leao
Rangers, OSUT has come to an end! I ended up being PG again from FTX till Graduation, the second time around was much easier. My Drill Sergeants let me plan our final patrol/raid/assault. It was awesome, by far the best time I've had in OSUT. I came in 2nd for the PT award, my final scores were 101 ...

Rangers, After watching all the other DEPers leave before me, it's finally my time. Participating on this forum and in the mentor program has given me the more insight to becoming a Ranger than I could have hoped for. Thank you to all the Rangers who give their time, effort, and encouragement to hel...

Re: Introduction - Andrew
Roger Ranger Lunch, thank you Ranger goon175.
Two comments stood out to me most. "We train if you take a casualty, the best thing you can do is to kill people" and "Absolutely" when asked if the price was worth it for retrieving Neil Roberts and Jason Cunningham.

Re: SITREP - OFFICIAL AFPT - Mata Leao
Rangers, I completed the APFT with my Future Soldier SGT today. Push ups - 111 Sit ups - 73 2 mile - 11:38 I set an awkward angle for my legs during the sit up portion and burnt out early, very disappointing. After taking an official test I know what I will change going into the next test to correct...

Re: 1000 pushup club
Rangers,
Field house was closed tonight for "senior night" so I missed my run, 1200 pushups 3hr 48min. Sets of 50 the whole way through. Anyone up for 1337?
