You say apply? Do I just walk up to the 75th Battalion area on Lewis and ask for a application, or do I begg my 1SGT. for a 4187?

Okay, that's what I thought as well. Kinda said to myself if it was that easy the 75th wouldn't need soldiers. So, at this point my chance of becoming apart of 75th is slim to none or is there some miracle worker amongst us?

Is it possible for me a prior service NG to become a Ranger now that I'm active duty? Is it better for me to wait until I arrive at Ft. Lewis to inquire about becoming a ranger? Also, I was told by my recruiter that upon my arrival to Ft.Lewis personel center that I can request placement into the 75...

Hello everyone, I'm a OIF veteran. I'm joined the NG in 2004, and got out in 2008. I just re-enlisted in active duty, I'll be headed to Ft.Lewis this winter.
