Rangers,
Got my Blue Cord on 10 Dec. Proudest day of my life. We had 3 guys in my platoon going to RASP and I'm pretty confident they'll make it; all stand up guys. It's still weird being home, part of me misses it. I'm still a weekender, but despite stuff I've heard about the Guard my unit doesn't ...

Re: Introduction - Kevin
Greetings Rangers
36 hour pass, week 10. Been a hell of a ride. We've already completed most of the requirements, we have FTX, some combatives, and mounted react to contact left. Been a few times I didn't think I'd make it but I've completed everything and never quit, now we can see the light at ...

Rangers,
Its my time to visit Benning. I'm heading to the hotel this Tuesday and am hopefully starting on September 3. I really appreciate all the advice and guidance I've gained here, especially those who have spoken to me in private messages. I'll be back in December an Infantryman.
Thank you ...

Rangers,
I had another RSP this past weekend. One recruit dislocated his kneecap doing mountain climbers, not a pretty thing to look at. My 1-1-1 sucked. My 6:46 mile from last time turned into a 7:29 and I felt like shit after. I did 4 more pushups (46) and 1 less situp (35) than last time. I'm ...

Former Sheriff Jailed For Assault
Rangers,
I know ArmyRanger.com has some LEOs and I was hoping to hear some opinions on this. Its somewhat old news so I searched but didn't find a thread on it. Long story short, a handcuffed suspect in the back of a squad car ignored repeated commands to stop kicking the window and one Officer ...

Re: Question regarding politics
Rangers, thank you for the replies. I understand better now.
Ranger Bill's response brings another question. I'm sure at some point this has been more than a hypothetical for at least some of you, but what would you do if you were given an order that you knew was wrong? Legally or morally? I ...

Question regarding politics
Rangers,
With permission, I'd like to ask a question. I read a lot on this forum, along with ProfessionalSoldiers and The Paratrooper Association. I often see a lot of negative sentiments regarding the leaders of our country (Congress, Intelligence agencies, even the Big Man); comments along the ...

Rangers,
I knew I had a lot of PT work to do to get where I want to be, but it seems like every new member that signs up here is scoring 300s and above on the APFT no problem. Outstanding. Good to know theres that many studs out there wanting to join the military. I can't wait for OSUT. Hopefully ...

Ranger Ingraham,
Thank you for the encouraging words. I honestly have no idea about the PA unit you mentioned, but I will look into both that and the MDNG SF unit. I strive to be the best, and those are the caliber units I hope to one day serve in.
No work today, so I'll be pushing and running ...

Re: Introduction - Kevin
Greetings Rangers, I just wanted to give a short update. I had my first RSP with the Guard this weekend. I did alright (in comparison to the rest of the recruits) on the 1-1-1, 42p/u, 36s/u, 6:46 mile.
I think with the extra minute on the 2-2-2 I could've easily done 70+ pushups, but I need some ...

Rangers Hobbit and al_2ndWolfhounds, thank you. He is my hero, and the closest thing I had to a real father. He's in a wheelchair now, and the thought of someone taking advantage of his weakened state and stealing HIS awards that he risked his life for.. well.. I was pretty angry and disheartened to ...

Question Regarding Medals
Greetings Rangers
My grandfather was a First Sergeant in WW2 and recieved a few medals. I just came from visiting him and, sadly, was informed that some lowlife decided to steal them from his room at his VA retirement home (Not sure what else to call it) while he was out. Needless to say, he's ...
