Re: Introduction-Adrian

Greetings Rangers. My APFT with my recruiter was moved to yesterday due to some bad weather on the day scheduled. I was dissapointed because I was forced to do the test the day after a full upper body workout. I would have done it next week but i am going out of town. However, I did do well enough f...

Re: Introduction-Adrian

I know I still have alot to learn and beleive me, I am learning from my mistakes. Now, more about myself. I have been living...

Rangers, I think dressing it up like Jesus may have a more physcological impact personally. No disrespect intended.

Re: Headaches after PT

Thankyou again Rangers and Etaldred. The past month has been the very first time i have gotten headaches like this. My symptoms sound exactly like what you have described. I have noticed that and warm up in the beggining (usually a 2 mile run on an elyptical) has greatly reduced the severity and len...

Re: No OPT 40's available? Here's how to respond.

Thankyou Ranger Invictus and Ranger Bravo for the words of wisdom. I do not have an option 40 like many others. I cant sit around anymore and leave my fate to a Recruiter who cares for nothing more than meeting a quota. I want to go to MEPS and jump on my counselor's desk everday to fight for a slot...

Re: Mountain Phase vs. Mountain Warfare School

Thankyou all Rangers for the advice. I understand there are 3 phases Ranger PocketKings. I just saw myself having the most trouble in that particular phase but at the same time I am most interested in that part. Will I have to wait till I get to my unit before I can apply to go there assuming I dont...

Mountain Phase vs. Mountain Warfare School

Greetings Rangers. Thankyou for the ridiculous amount of information on this site. I was just curious if the Mountain Warfare School could compare to the Mountain Phase in Ranger school. The reason I was wondering was I didnt not secure and opt 40 but I am going to stick it out and go throught with ...

Re: Replacing the M16 and M4?

I just thought of another question I wanted to add. Do the M4 M16 and other AR15 variants typically break down the same way? as far as recievers, bolts, carriers, and firing pin? I know I could probably find this answer in a book but I am very farmiliar with the Ar15 so I was just trying to save som...

Replacing the M16 and M4?

Good evening Rangers and other service members. Does anyone have a clue when and what they may be replaced by? Ive heard lots of rumors. I know there is an unimaginable amount of political bs behind it, but I was just curious.

Re: Headaches after PT

Thank you Rangers for all of your input. I will work on mastering my breathing first. I beleive that is my problem. My blood pressure seems to be healthy. Also, how important is it to reach my target heart rate before a workout? Thanks again.

Headaches after PT

Greeting Rangers and other service members. I have been getting sharp headaches for about the past three weeks. They mainly come on after doing rigorous upper body PT, like elevated pushups and dips. I dont get it everytime though. Could this have to do with blood flow to my head or maybe insufficie...
