What can I do to help?
Rangers & Vets Whats left over from my Pell Grant money should be coming in soon, and since I've already got enough saved up from my summer job, I wanted to know if anybody knows any organizations that could put it to good use for the fine soldiers in the sandbox. Last time I donated to an NGO I...

Good ideas for long waits?
Rangers, between the amount of schooling needed for me to meet education standards, and the broken command structure (and "I'll do it later" attidude) at my recruiting station, not to mention the actual DEP time for an OP40... I got a long wait ahead of me. I broke off ties with the majori...

Re: Introduction-Luke
Small world. Turns out this Ranger-hopeful lives just down the street and around the corner from me. We've entered into a mentor program here. A few PMs followed up with a phone call or two resulted in a pretty favorable impression on me so I decided to give another mentee a go. NeverSayDie is a sh...

Re: No OPT 40's available? Here's how to respond.
Thank you Ranger Invictus. I'm going to use that phone call tactic shamelessly when the time arises. Any Rangers here in the aforementioned position willing take the call? (there have have been numerous examples on this site of what happens to cherries who intrude onto a Ranger AO without anouncing ...

Re: Introduction-Luke

I will have to repeat some classes and wont make any excusses; I should have made absolutley sure that I coul...

what schools/courses are most respected?
Rangers, I know its the man that makes the badge, and not the other way around. I know this isn’t the boy scouts, and a chest full of shiny looking pin-ons isn’t going to Impress anyone. However given the opportunity, I would like to know what schools/courses to volunteer for. I want to be the best ...

Re: Skippy’s List: The 213 things Skippy is no longer allowed to
Skippy is real but didn't serve with your friend. Try this: http://skippyslist.com/about/ Ranger Slowpoke, Okay cool. I was wondering why the 10th Mountian Soldiers would be learning Albanian when they just got deployed to Afghanistan. My buddy must have come across this and knew I'd get a kick out...

Skippy’s List: The 213 things Skippy is no longer allowed to
A copy of an e-mail sent to me by a friend at ft. drum. No one calls him Skippy so I'm geussing its one of the guys in his unit. Note: I know a Ranger will be along shortly to devise a punishment for me involving push-ups so I have already started. (it was worth it  .) Skippy’s List: The 213 t...
