Body Weight

Rangers, I have a question regarding body weight correlating with RASP and staying in a Battalion. I am currently 6'2 and 210 lbs. and average in the 290's for my APFT. Would weighing 200 plus lbs. be an issue concerning ruck marches and having day after day endurance through RASP?

Re: Questions about 35M

Ranger Baseplate, I want to serve our country by fighting, I just wanted to know if there is a tactical side of 35M being that I know Spanish and Arabic I could put my language skills to good use. But first and foremost I want to be able to execute raids and patrols that Rangers are known for.

Questions about 35M

Rangers, do 35M's in a Ranger Battalion get to do anything tactical with the infantry, or are they mainly just for support such as interrogations?

New Rifle?

I have noticed in recent photos alot of Rangers carrying around the SCAR instead of the M4. Is the SCAR making a transition into the standard issue rifle for the 75th?

Staying in a Battalion

Rangers, through research I have noticed that through most Rangers opinion, not getting kicked out of a Battalion following RIP is a very difficult part of serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment. What types of things do soldiers struggle with to stay in a Battalion after RIP? I would greatly appreciate ...
